Who we are, what we do

The Pastoral Planning unit at the Diocese is part of the Parish Support team comprising:

The Pastoral Planning team supports the Diocese by:

• Assisting Diocesan Heads of Mission in their planning, their monitoring of progress and in their linkages to Parishes

• Assisting Parishes through their Parish Priests, their Parish Pastoral Councils and Parish Assemblies in discerning their local directions, documenting their plans, and monitoring their progress

• Providing planning examples for Parishes.

• Organising Deanery Meetings where Pastoral Planning Issues are discussed.

• Developing a web site for continuous discussion between Parish Pastoral Council and Parish Finance Committee members.
