In the Diocese of Broken Bay the World Youth Day Coordinator and the Coordinator of Youth Ministry work together to support youth ministry in the Diocese. There are three key aims for youth ministry in the Diocesan Pastoral Plan for 2006 - 2010:
-
Each parish will welcome and engage our young people using contemporary methods of communication.
-
Implement significant Evangelisation projects which reach out to those who do not participate in a full way within our communities.
-
Developing more effective ways of proclaiming the Gospel Message to students.
