May Pilgrimage Preparation meeting

During the May pilgrimage preparation meeting we did a sweep on the entire Saints and Mystics pilgrimage.  During the presentation we had a look at a number of official video clips from the WYD website.  The information about the pilgrimage, include links to the videos, is contained in the PowerPoint slide show which you can download below.  Each pilgrim was also give a pilgrimage overview document that has a greater explanation of the pilgrimage than the slides.  Both documents can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.  Most of the information will also appear on the blog, click here for the blog

Record Keeping Tools

We have created a series of record keeping tool to help you manage your first Volunteer Service Period.  The first tool is the Log Book.  This is the official record of the Volunteer hours served.  You will have to submit your first log book by Friday 5th February.  Please do no loose this log book, it is an official document.  The Log book is available from your parish official, you may receive one in the mail from your parish.

The second tool is for your personal use.  It is the Volunteer Service Record.  You can download the excel file so that you can manage your hours on the computer.  If you have trouble reading the excel file let us know ASAP.  You can also download a PDF version for you to print out.  This is a tool for you and your ministry supervisor, please do not submit this form to the Parish Support Unit at the end of the six months.

Theological Reflection Program

As part of the Parish Internship Program Interns have the option of joining a Theological Reflection Group (TRG).  The model that each TRG will follow is a program that has been specifically designed for Interns and their journey to WYD11.  If you missed out on the participants booklet at the Formation session then download a copy form the download section of this website.
