Introduction to Broken Bay Youth Ministry
Broken Bay Youth Ministry is part of the Parish Support Unit in the Diocese of Broken Bay. Under the leadership of Bishop David Walker, we aim to inspire youth and young adults into a deepening relationship with Jesus. A focus on discipleship forms the basis of our Parish Youth Ministry Framework which is available from this website.
World Youth Day 2011
Bishop David Walker travelled with the group of 120 pilgrims on the Saints and Mystics tour of WYD11. It began with a 7 day journey through northern Spain visiting places associated with St Teresa of Avila, St John of the Cross and other local saints. We continued with Day in the Diocese in the ancient city of Toledo. We then joined millions pilgrims for the third biggest World Youth Day in the city of Madrid. Before coming home we will made a 3 day stop at the Emmaus retreat centre in Ireland to reflect on the experience. If you want to keep up to date read more click here.
